WWW Wednesday October 1, 2014

Okay, let me preface this by saying that I have not posted a WWW Wednesday for about a month. Life just got crazy there for awhile and even though I kept reading, I was not getting posts up. So this list is about a month's worth of reading, a month I totally loved!

WWW Wednesdays is hosted by Should Be Reading

To play along, just answer the following three questions…

• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?

Clicking on the book covers will take you to Goodreads for more information about the books listed below.

What are you currently reading?

Hollow City by Ransom Riggs
(Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children #2)
Had to put this aside for a bit to get some other books read and to enjoy some vacation reading on my Kindle. Back at it again!

Duma Key by Stephen King (audio-book)
I just came across the part where the twin girls, who are dead, are standing at the bottom of the stairs, lookng up at the main character. Sound familar, SK fans?

What did you recently finish reading?

In the Mirror by Kaira Rouda
Just finished this last night. Having to deal with cancer is always tough but Kaira wrote a very enlightening story about some people who have been touched by it.

First Daughter by Susan Kaye Quinn
Loved this final book in the series! Read my thoughts here.

The Wedding Bees by Sarah-Kate Lynch
This was a book club pick. One of our members works at a local honey farm. This was a fun read, especially since it tied in with her job. I hope to get my thoughts posted soon.

When We Fall by Emily Liebert
Loved this and my thoughts will be posted soon.

Where There's Smoke by Jodi Picoult
This is a short story introducing us to Serenity Jones, one of the characters from Picoult's new novel, Leaving Time. After reading this, I can't wait to get my hands on Leaving Time.

Nest by Esther Ehrlich
I thoroughly enjoyed this mddle-grade novel. I love it when I find a great book outside my usual reading genres.

Fighting for Infinity by Karen Amanda Hooper
Book 3 in the Kindrily series. I loved being back in that world again. I'll be posting my thoughts soon.

Under the Olive Tree by Courtney Miller Santo
This is a short prequel to The Roots of the Olive Tree, one of my favorite books and you can read my thought about that book here.

Pulled Within by Marni Mann
Great story and you can read my thoughts here.

What do you think you will read next?

The Unimaginable by Dina Silver
I love Dina's stories and isn't this cover just beanutiful?

  1. I'm looking forward to Picoult's Leaving Time, so I may need to check out Where There's Smoke--I wasn't aware of that one. Thanks for the tip! :-)
