Jodi is someone I know personally. I first got to know her when she worked in our library as a student assistant. Since then, she has gone on to get her BA and MA and is now teaching at our university. She was a great student worker who has grown into an amazing women and an awesome teacher. 

I'm so excited for her on the release of her book, The Shadow of Death and I can't wait to read it! And isn't the cover so cool?

About the author

Jodi Andrews lives in Brookings, SD with her husband, Joel. She teaches writing at South Dakota State University. She has had poetry published in Snapdragon Journal, Anomaly Literary Journal, Dark Matter Journal, The Unlost Journal, The Remembered Arts Journal, Pasque Petals and others. 

Andrews graduated with her MA in English in December 2016, and she holds a BA in English Education.
