Paperback & e-book, 172 pages
Published April 15th 2014
Allison thought it was crazy enough when she found out her father, Liam, wasn't entirely human. But now she has to join his magical allies to unravel his former mistress's plans. Aoife wants to keep Allison's parents apart forever.
Despite Allison's efforts to keep Ethan, the only guy she's ever cared about, out of this supernatural mess, fate keeps throwing him back into the mix.
Will Allison be able to find the amulet that holds the enchantment Aoife placed on Liam and destroy it? Are Ethan's feelings for Allison strong enough to endure the magic of the Tuatha De Danaan?
My thoughts about Stone of Destiny ~~
Stone of Destiny picks up right where The Forgotten Ones ends. We are back in the real world of Allison and Ethan but we also take trips to the magical world of Tuatha De Danaan. Allison is trying to figure out the world of her father and trying to save her mother.
'Maybe love meant believing in someone so much, no obstacle in this world or the next could change your mind.'Allison is such a strong character in these books. Where some people might just want to give up, she charges ahead and takes on anyone and everyone in the Danaan world who tries to get in her way, anyone who tries to hurt those she loves.
'I'm just so damn angry. I want to put an end to all of this madness. But it seems like there's always something more she's done. I'm caught in Aoife's spider web and I can't see how I'll ever be free.'This trilogy so far has been a fast-paced adventure and is an easy story to get lost in. I am so glad that all of the books are out now so I can just jump from one right into the next one!
And one parting quote that I just love --
'Hey, say whatever you want. I'm a proud book nerd.'So am I, Allison, so am I!
Next up is A Place Beyond, the final book in The Danaan Trilogy. I can't wait to see how this ends!
