It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's an opportunity to visit other blogs and to comment on their reads. And ... you can add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Hope everyone had a great week. Hubby was out of town for a few days and since he is retired and ALWAYS home, it was kind of like a vacation for me. I rarely get the house to myself so it was very enjoyable. It was nice to have him back home though too.
My daughter and I went to see the movie Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, this weekend. It is based on the book series by Ransom Riggs. We thought it was a great way to spend the afternoon. We are both big fans of the series and had been trying to find a time to go see it since it came out in September. It made me want to read the three books again.
I've been getting a lot of books read lately. Now I just need to get caught up on my review posts. Does that happen to you too?
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a great week. Happy reading!

I loved Behind Closed Doors...and I'm eager to read my new copy of The Murder Game. (Fractured was my favorite book for last month).
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your books...and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
I have had soooo many wonderful books on my reading list lately. It has been a piece of heaven. I love Catherine's books, I hope you enjoy The Murder Game. (I know you will) Thanks for stopping by Laurel-Rain. Happy reading!
DeleteBehind Closed Doors seems really popular right now!
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing! I hope you get a chance to read it. Thanks for stopping by. Happy reading!
DeleteI like how you and your daughter are close and do things together. My mum and I do that. I really have to check out that Peregrine series. I thought it was horror but at looking at its GR page, no. I will hunt down a copy.
ReplyDeleteOh, I just love the series and I can't wait for my grandchildren to get a little older so I can share it with them. Some are readers and some are not. I hope I can turn them on to the wonderful story.
DeleteMy daughter is like a 'mini me' and we are the best of friends. We are so much alike and we love spending time together. I'm glad you have a close relationship with your mom. I wasn't so lucky with my mom so I am extremely blessed to be close to my kids.
Have a great week and thanks for stopping by. Happy reading!
I just finished Emma Knows All by Laura Briggs last night. I've been reading The A to Z of ASDs Aunt Aspie's Guide to Life by Rudy Simone when I just have a little to read. I think I'll either start Eligible or The Honorable Heir by Laurie Alice Eakes
