It's Monday! What Are You Reading? November 11, 2024 #IMWAYR

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's an opportunity to visit other blogs and to comment on their reads. And ... you can add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Well, I'm back from visiting my son and his family in Tennessee. I was there for three weeks. And now I've had a week at home to kind of get back to 'normal'. Ha! They have three kids, ages 15, 7, and 5 and they are involved in a lot of activities and are homeschooled, so we were very, very busy! And I loved every minute of it.

Needless to say, I got little-to-no reading done and have been playing 'catch up' since I got back. I've been reading stories and shorter novels to get back to meeting my Goodreads reading goal. It's only a number, right, but I don't like being so far behind.

And of course, I have to discuss the weather. That's what we do here in the Midwest, right? On any given day there was a 20-30 degree difference in temps between TN and SD. Why am I living here still? We'll be getting snow any day now. Winter is coming!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you all have a good week.
Happy reading!

  1. Great looking assortment of books. I'm trying to read from my TBR pile for the rest of the year. I was born and raised in Minnesota and have never lived anywhere else. Sure, the winters are cold. But I'm retired and don't have to go outside if I don't want to. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  2. Looks like some great reads going on. I hope you decide soon about Great Expectations. I remember having to read it for school. I think weather gets discussed everywhere! We do here in NZ too. Snow sounds great to me!!
