ReplyDeleteyou just don't want to know. such a mess. my daughter has 2 books she really, really wants me to read. in addition to the other books that i am desperately trying to finish. i started the hitch hiker's guide to the galaxy for her a few weeks ago. not much progress. i really need a guide to reading that book. now she wants me to read ender's game. i want to finish imaginary friend and shadows on the coast of maine first. then finish killer crab cakes and a likeness in stone. all are good but we have 5 rescue pups. 2 with cancer. one has lymphoma and our time is limited. so if they want to be held or fed or need a tummy rub - i drop everything and indulge these wonderful gifts from God. they seem to do their best to distract me. i do not get a moment alone. ever. and that is ok. i am lucky. i have tried reading to them. no go. so maybe next week i will have made more progress completing books. i refuse to start any new ones for now!!
