It's Monday! What Are You Reading? August 29. 2022 #IMWAYR

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's an opportunity to visit other blogs and to comment on their reads. And ... you can add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

How can it be almost the end of August?? Schools are back in session and things are getting back to normal, whatever that means. Grandkiddos are involved in a lot of activities that keep their parents busy. It's nice, as a grandparent, to be able to just sit back and enjoy their games, concerts, etc. without all the running around that it takes beforehand. We've got a couple of trips planned for the fall but nothing immediate. I love fall with the beautiful colors and cooler temps. And football, although my favorite team has been struggling for the last.... oh, a lot of years.... so Saturday's are sometimes a little tough to get through. Have a wonderful end of the month everyone!

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you all have a good week.
Happy reading!

  1. Once again, the summer has flown by so much quicker than I thought possible! We all comment on it so it must be true! Good selection of reads this week - I've had my eye on The Opera Sisters as well but don't know when or if I'll be reading it. Enjoy!

    1. I'll be starting The Opera Sisters today. It's be a while since I've read historical fiction so I'm excited to dive in. Thanks for stopping by.

  2. I just finished Mom Walks: Starting in 5th by Rebecca Prenevost. It was entertaining enough, sitting out on the beach reading. Took me back to the days when my kids were younger and all the drama that came with it. And just now starting The Make-Up Test by Jenny Howe. (I'm in a light reading mood lately).

    1. Both of these are new to me. And sometimes the light reading is just what we need, Nothing wrong with that. Thanks for stopping by.
