My thoughts about White Lies ~~

White Lies is the ultimate in wonderful chick-lit! Natalie is only searching for the 'man of her dreams. How hard could that be? Well, things aren't quite as easy for Natalie as she had hoped. And what about love at first sight? That's a possibility, isn't it?

'It could be love at first sight, like that lady from Edinburgh I read about the other day. She did online dating for eight years and then ended up marrying the man next door. Okay, well, they did have to get married for him to stay in the country, and he just ran off with her savings fund, but the point is usually love is right where you would least expect it.'

We get an inside look at what it's like to try and find 'the man of my dreams', Natalie's dreams that is, although I wouldn't mind Johnny Depp myself. The predicaments she gets herself into are just hilarious.

This is from one of her letters to 'the man of my dreams' ~ it cracked me up!

'P.S. You wouldn't happen to know of a cleaners that specializes in getting the smell of garbage out of silk, would you?'

Aren't you just dying to know what that is all about?

Natalie is in the business world, unhappy with her job and afraid she is going to be let go. Will she be able to survive the changes that are coming? And will she be able to work with the new people? I loved the friction that we see between Natalie and the man that was brought in to make some changes. Great stuff!

I absolutely love Emily's sense of humor! This book was soooo much fun to read. It was wonderful to be in Natalie's world for awhile, it was a great time! I will definitely be reading more of Emily's stories!

The Making of Nebraska Brown by Louise Caiola
I'm originally from Nebraska so I just had to read this one. I am liking it, just haven't figured out what is going on with the main character. I guess that's good, right?

Under the Dome by Stephen King
Still lovin' it. But oh my, there are some nasty things going on in this town that's 'under the dome' but I guess that's to be expected from Stephen King.
