To play along, just answer the following three questions…
• What are you currently reading?
• What did you recently finish reading?
• What do you think you’ll read next?
Clicking on the book covers will take you to Goodreads for more information about the books listed below.
What are you currently reading?
The Death of Bees by Lisa O'Donnell
This is for one of my book groups and I had never heard about it before. It sounds kind of spooky/weird. This is the beginning of the synopsis from Goodreads ~
'Today is Christmas Eve. Today is my birthday. Today I am fifteen. Today I buried my parents in the backyard. Neither of them were beloved.'
Doesn't that just grab your attention?

The Colony by Cami Checketts
I love Cami's books and this one is another good one! My thoughts will be posted later this month.
Leave me a comment and
I'll stop by to check out your reads.

I never really know what will be my next book unless I have a deadline. That Bees book does sound intriguing!! Hope you enjoy it and let us know if it rocks :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping, Elisa. The Death of Bees was very different. It will be interesting to discuss with my book club and see what they think.
DeleteOh Under the Dome is on my TBR. My sister is currently reading it (and has been for several months now). The length is a tad bit off putting but sounds really interesting. Plus, Stephen King is amazing.

Thanks for stopping, Edel. I am listening to it and it's going to take me forever since I live in a smallish town and don't spend too much time in the car. But I can't stop thinking about it. Maybe I should start listening while I clean? Oh wait, that isn't very much time either. :)
DeleteGreat books this week! The Death of Bees looks really great. Here's my link http://wp.me/p32hC2-xo

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping! I have read another one of Lippman's books. She writes great stories. I started it over the weekend and am enjoying it.
