It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's an opportunity to visit other blogs and to comment on their reads. And ... you can add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Week 8—Pretty much the same, week after week. Hubs and I don't get out much, I'm still working from home, and I just go out to pick up our groceries (so grateful for Hy-Vee Aisles Online!) and prescriptions. That's about it.
We did take a long drive Saturday afternoon to some of the surrounding communities. It was nice to just get out and see stuff. People were very friendly and were always waving as we drove past by their houses. I think they are missing people too.
It sounds like businesses may start opening up a bit soon around here, which seems scary to me but I guess we'll just keep doing what we're doing to keep ourselves safe. I sure do miss hugging the grands though!

And this.....
Take care. Stay safe and healthy everyone.
And remember to wash those hands!!
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you all have a good week. Happy reading!

That comic is perfect for today. Luckily we did get takeout over the weekend so my kids haven't been complaining (too much).

We only have the budget to get takeaway on birthdays...this month there are two so the kids are very excited :)
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great reading week and good health
Love the comic. I remember as a child, restaurants were reserved for very special occassions....
ReplyDeleteThe Good Stranger sounds intriguing. Added it to my TBR list! Thank you for sharing!
I haven't even been out grocery shopping. That's my brother's thing and helps him prevent boredom. I don't get bored staying home. Come see my week here. Happy reading!
