Reading My TBR Piles ~ July 2022 Edition #TBR

YIKES!!

Look familiar? This is sometimes how my TBR piles/shelves feel to me. I have decided to make a more concerted effort to whittle down my TBR books. These will be books that on not on my review stack, but books that I own. These could be print, e-book, or audio-books, just books that I have been wanting to read. So, on the first Wednesday of each month I'm going to post the books that I read the previous month with the goal to clear off my TBR shelves.

*****************

As I was getting this post ready, I came to the realization that I am better at clearing off my audiobooks than I am my print books. I like to listen as I'm walking or working around the house so that seems to be where I can devote most of my time. Plus the number of review books lately have put a damper on getting to my own books. Not that I'm complaining, I've been reading some great books! Hopefully the review books will be tapering off here soon and I can get to more of my own.

What have you recently cleared off of your TBR shelf?

  1. Hi. I don’t understand. Is this in addition to your regular Saturday post where are you give away books in order to clear your shelves? How does this Wednesday post (although today is Thursday) clear your TBR shelves? Will this, also, be a giveaway?

    1. This is just me recognizing that I have a lot of books that I want to read (not review books) and that I am working through them, slowly. Although this is not a 'giveaway' post, some of these books may show up on my Saturday giveaway posts at some point. I usually share with my neighbor then decide if I'm going to give them away when I get them back from her. So this is more of me 'reading' though my TBR shelves. I changed the post title so it's not so confusing.
