Happy New Year! It's 2016!

Well, here it is, 2016. Another year has come and gone. Where did 2015 go? It sped by so fast.

I want to thank all of you for sticking around and I hope that 2016 is a great year for all of us!

This is what you can expect from The Book Bag in the upcoming year --

Last January I started a regular Saturday morning post that I call my "Book Spotlight Giveaway!" Each week I feature a book that has been sitting on my shelf for awhile. I give it away to one of you. We moved a while back and I discovered just how many books I have that I am never going to read. Last year, I gave away one book a week through my Book Spotlight Giveaways. That's 52 books that are gone from my house. I wish I could say that my collection has gotten smaller. It probably has but I still have so many books. I am going to continue that feature into the new year, until I have shaved my books shelves down a bit more. Along with the print books I am giving away, I have been grabbing e-books that I have read and loved when they go on sale on Amazon. I will be giving those away periodically as well. I love sharing my love of books with others.

I participate in the "It's Monday! What Are You Reading?" meme. I love this meme as it is a way for me to track the books I read/am reading and I get to look at other people's list of books to (what else?) add to my TBR list. There are so many wonderful books out there!

I am a blog host for several blog tour sites so I post reviews, cover reveals, spotlights, and giveaways throughout the year for those companies. I love to offer giveaways for all of you whenever I can!

I have worked with some fabulous authors over the years and I look forward to hearing from them when they have a new book out or need help promoting their stories. I love my reading life!
