Love to Prove You Wrong is a sweet romantic comedy and the second book in the Old Pine Cove series. All books share the same setting, but each story features a different couple.
My thoughts about Love to Prove You Wrong ~~
(I love to note the first lines of the books I'm reading. First lines can really grab a reader's attention and I love seeing where the author takes the reader after their first line.)
First line—"'There's a duck in the lobby. A living, quacking duck!'"
Addy is just trying to do her job, run her inn, and make a wedding come off with no hitches. While trying to handle all this, in walks her past nemesis, the guys who crushed her in high school. I thoroughly enjoyed witnessing the angst and amazing chemistry between Addy and Justin.
Love to Prove You Wrong is the perfect feel-good, funny, romantic story—full of wonderful characters who captured my heart. I loved my visit to Old Pine Cove where I reconnected with the people I met in book #1, Snowflakes and Sparks and learned more about some of the others. I can't wait to go back for another visit.
