My thoughts about Mother Daughter Sister Stranger ~~
(I love to note the first lines of the books I'm reading. First lines can really grab a reader's attention and I love seeing where the author takes the reader after their first line.)
First line—"I remember the falling. Only the falling."
I always know when I start a story by Hank Phillippi Ryan that it is going to be a good one, one that will keep me guessing until the end and make me want more. Mother Daughter Sister Stranger did that for me. I went round and round trying to figure out whodunnit and not getting it right. And this whole story takes place for Eliza and Piper in a matter of only three days. And what a dramatic, suspenseful three days they were.
There is so much going on in this story and I found myself bouncing around, wondering -- is this person a friend or a foe, should they trust this person or not. So much to think about and consider.
Mother Daughter Sister Stranger will take you on an exciting ride, one you will not soon forget. I highly recommend it!
