Published August 3, 2026 by Bookouture

From multi-million copy bestselling author Kerry Lonsdale comes a heart-pounding and suspenseful romance full of longing, heat and a second chance at love against the odds…

On the outside, Nadia Jacobs is a cool, confident architect at the top of her game. But for the past decade, she’s been quietly building walls to keep the people she loves most at arm’s length. All because of him.

Thomas Donato sacrificed everything when he forced Nadia to keep a dangerous secret from everyone they knew. He did it to protect his family. But it cost him the woman he’s secretly loved since they were kids.

Now he wants back into Nadia’s life. Nadia’s heart does a familiar skip-and-stumble when met with his hesitant smile, but she sees through his Thomas is achingly alone. And letting him in risks losing everyone and everything she holds dear.

When his past abruptly crashes into their present, they are both suddenly on the run. Not only are they forced to confront the price of a secret they’ve kept for a decade, but a truth even more their feelings for each other.

With time running out and nowhere to hide, will their love heal what darkness broke in them all those years ago, or will it shatter them forever?

My thoughts about Everything We Found ~~

(I love to note the first lines of the books I'm reading. First lines can really grab a reader's attention and I love seeing where the author takes the reader after their first line.)

First line—"The night before the funeral, as he gazed into the belly of  a casket weighed down with sandbags in place of his younger brother's body, Thomas Donato accepted his fate. He was the villain of this story."

I am absolutely in love with this series—the Everything series by Kerry Lonsdale. But I have to say that Everything We Found might be my favorite of all of these stories. This one just hits different. It was a rollercoaster of a ride with an edge-of-my-seat vibe that the other ones did not have. I loved it!!

The truth about Nadia and Thomas' lives—and lies—is finally revealed and boy, did I have it all wrong. Nothing about their past was at all what it seemed to be, hence the rollercoaster ride. And I couldn't read fast enough to get to the exciting conclusion! So intense!!

This was the perfect ending to this amazing series. I highly recommend each and every story!

I received a copy of Everything We Found from the author and this is my honest opinion.

Release Day! Falling for You Again by Kerry Lonsdale ~ My Thoughts @kerrylonsdale #FallingForYouAgain #TheFirstFall

Happy Release Day!

Congrats Kerry
on the release today of
Falling for You Again!

Falling for You Again by Kerry Lonsdale
Audiobook narrated by Amanda Leigh Cobb
Romance, Contemporary, 271 pages
Published July 8, 2025 by Lake Union Publishing

Fate reunites a young woman with her ex-husband in a delightful and inspiring novel about family, old loves, and marriage on a dare by Wall Street Journal bestselling author Kerry Lonsdale.

Furniture artisan Meli Hynes still abides by her uncle’s truism: the only lasting love story is the one between artists and their creations. Having already given marriage a shot—for all of twenty-four hours during a Las Vegas fling—Meli made her choice. The wood-crafting shop that is her family legacy will always come first.

But when her uncle decides to sell to a competitor, Meli’s promised inheritance goes belly-up. She’ll do anything to muddle the deal. Including a marriage of convenience to an unforgettable and very practical old friend—the competitor’s son, Aaron. With a controlling family of his own, and every bit as impulsive as Meli, Aaron is in. After all, this isn’t the first time he and Meli got hitched on a whim.

The rules of the ruse are simple: public displays of affection and live together as happy newlyweds. The hardest rule of all? Never let real feelings get in the way of what they plan to be a purely professional second time around.

My thoughts about Falling for You Again ~~

(I love to note the first lines of the books I'm reading. First lines can really grab a reader's attention and I love seeing where the author takes the reader after their first line.)

First line—"'Love is too fickle, Meli, to waste on someone who will leave you,' Uncle Bear once said to me when I'd asked why he wasn't married."

Family estrangement, drama, second chance romance, best gal pals, business deals—Falling for You Again pretty much has it all. And Kerry Lonsdale has done it again. She has created a world and group of characters that I fell in love with. I enjoy her stories so much and immerse myself completely when I start one of her novels.

Meli runs on the day of her wedding and runs right into an unexpected, impromptu wedding. The newlyweds come up with a list of rules and attributes that they would want in any future relationship. But is it possible to find someone as perfect as they think they need?

Right after I read the book, I listened to the audiobook. Even though I knew what was coming, it still was a wonderful story and I savored every minute of it. The narrator does an amazing job, her voice was so easy to listen to.

Falling for You Again is a fun, romantic tale of finding love again, after having it the first time. I love this story so much. I highly recommend Falling for You Again. This is the perfect summer read for everyone!

I received a copy of Falling for You Again from the author and this is my honest opinion.

Release Day! Find Me in California by Kerry Lonsdale ~ My Thoughts #FindMeInCalifornia @kerrylonsdale

Happy Release Day!

Congrats Kerry
on the release today of
Find Me in California!

Find Me in California by Kerry Lonsdale
Women's Fiction, Contemporary, 314 pages
Published June 11, 2024 by Lake Union Publishing

An achingly romantic novel about chance meetings, buried secrets, and the multiple facets of love and family bonds by Wall Street Journal bestselling author Kerry Lonsdale.

Raised by her fiercely passionate and free-spirited grandmother, Julia Hope has never gone without love. But as she tends to her only living relative during her final days, Julia struggles to overcome her fear of being alone.

A thousand miles away, Matt Gatlin has managed to avoid the coldhearted grandmother with whom he once lived. But after twelve years of her being blessedly out of sight, she needs him. His resentments still raw, Matt packs up his car and reluctantly heads to California to confront a bitter past he thought was long gone.

Over the next six days, Julia’s and Matt’s fates intersect. An old diary exposes the tragedy of a long-lost love. A history of secrets in two families comes to light. And on a lonely back road, Matt picks up an unusual yet captivating hitchhiker with a secret of her own.

For Julia and Matt, something heartbreaking and heartwarming, mysterious and beautiful, will touch their lives—with neither of them realizing that maybe they’re destined for each other.

My thoughts about Find Me in California ~~

(I love to note the first lines of the books I'm reading. First lines can really grab a reader's attention and I love seeing where the author takes the reader after their first line.)

First line—"Matt turns his Porsche into the driveway and stops at the sight before him. Fifteen large boxes stacked five across in towers of three block his garage."

Once again, Kerry Lonsdale has written a story that will stay with me a long, long time. She weaves a great storyline with memorable characters that takes me to a place and time I never want to leave. As always, I devoured this story but then was a little sad that it was over. I need to learn to pace myself, but it's impossible with her books.

Matt and Julia are thrown together as they each deal with their elderly grandmothers, each facing their last days in the nursing home before they are kicked out. Little did they, or we as the readers, know how intertwined their lives would become or how much of a past they shared. Be prepared to unravel a lot of stuff!

I loved the dual timelines as we watch how Matt and Julia get themselves out of the predicaments they find themselves in, but also as we learn how the past got them to this point. Maybe there really is something magical and 'meant-to-be' in that whole destiny thing.

Find Me in California is another book by Ms. Lonsdale that blew me out of the water. I loved everything about it. She does an amazing job of storytelling and I thoroughly enjoy all of her stories. This one is one of her best! I highly recommend it.

I received a copy of Find Me in California from the author and this is my honest opinion.

Release Day! No More Secrets by Kerry Lonsdale ~ My Thoughts #NoMoreSecrets @kerrylonsdale

Happy Release Day!

Congrats Kerry
on the release today of
No More Secrets!

No More Secrets by Kerry Lonsdale
Series: No More #3
Women's Psychological Fiction, 287 pages
Published March 14, 2023 by Lake Union Publishing

A young man seeks redemption from his past in the third novel from the No More trilogy by Amazon Charts and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Kerry Lonsdale.

After serving six months in a juvenile detention center, Lucas Carson returns home irrevocably changed by what happened there. Traumatized, Lucas shuts himself out from everyone he loves, even his younger sister, Lily, who ran away from home when she was pregnant at sixteen. When Lily resurfaces years later, Lucas can’t cope with his guilt about not being there for her. He takes off, only to cross paths with Shiloh Bloom—fifteen, homeless, and, like Lucas, escaping the past.

All Lucas sees in her is the little sister he neglected. Believing this is his chance to absolve past mistakes, he takes Shiloh in. He gives her food and shelter. She gives him a purpose. Together they invent a background for her and form a bond. But the risk of discovery grows. Lucas’s sisters aren’t the only ones looking for him. So are Shiloh’s mother and the police. If Lucas wants to heal and have a future, he must stop running and face everything he’s left behind.

My thoughts about No More Secrets ~~

(I love to note the first lines of the books I'm reading. First lines can really grab a reader's attention and I love seeing where the author takes the reader after their first line.)

First line—"Lucas Carson rolls onto his back and stares at the ceiling fan rotating on low, blades spinning faster than a clock's second hand melting his waste of a life. As if the Mojave Desert hasn't already done so."

OMG! This was the perfect ending to what is an exciting, remarkable series! I love everything about this series and totally devoured books one and two. I waited on pins and needles for book three and was excited to discover how the Carson family saga would come to a conclusion. I was not disappointed. And honestly, I think I fell in love with Lucas just a little bit.

Lucas is a lost soul, thinking he had let everyone in his family down. He still feels guilty for abandoning his little sister when she needed him the most. When Shiloh enters his world, he sees a chance to redeem himself, maybe just a little bit. And then the excitement, and the drama, begins.

No More Secrets is the perfect ending to this amazing trilogy and I can't wait to go back and enjoy them all again. I'm not usually a re-reader of books but this series needs to experienced more than once. I cannot recommend No More Secrets and the whole No More Series enough. These stories are extraordinary and unforgettable.

I received a copy of No More Secrets from the author and this is my honest opinion.

Release Day! No More Lies by Kerry Lonsdale ~ My Thoughts #NoMoreLies

Happy Release Day!

Congrats Kerry
on the release today of
No More Lies!

No More Lies by Kerry Lonsdale
Series: No More #2
Women's Psychological Fiction, 350 pages
Published May 10th 2022 by Lake Union Publishing

Secrets and lies shadow a woman on the run in the second novel in the No More trilogy by Amazon Charts and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Kerry Lonsdale.

Jenna Mason’s life seems perfect: a successful career as an animator, a town house near the beach, and an adoring son, Josh, whose artistic talent looks as promising as his mother’s. But there’s something nobody realizes about Jenna. She used to be Lily Carson, a young mother on the run from a secret no one must ever know.

After years of constantly relocating, Jenna concedes to her son’s request to settle down. He wants to make friends. He wants some stability. He wants to feel normal. She convinces herself they’re safe. Until a reporter discovers who Jenna really is, bringing her estranged father to her doorstep. When he threatens to expose her carefully fabricated life for the lie that it is, Jenna has no choice but to run again.

But just as she’s about to go off the grid, Josh disappears, forcing Jenna to seek out the one person she never thought she’d see again: Josh’s father.

My thoughts about No More Lies ~~

(I love to note the first lines of the books I'm reading. First lines can really grab a reader's attention and I love seeing where the author takes the reader after their first line.)

First line—"Jenna Mason jogs across the Washington Middle School parking lot, racing the morning bell."

I loved the first book in this series, No More Words—the excitement and the suspense—and couldn't wait for book two, No More Lies. Well, it's here! And it's just as good as the first one.

No More Lies is full of even more excitement and suspense. Jenna and Josh are always on the move, staying just ahead of danger, until Josh convinces his mom to stay put and let him have a normal life. But nothing about their situation is normal and when the past catches up with them, Jenna wants to flee again.

When secrets and lies are revealed, life as Jenna knows it goes spirally out of control. And can I just go on the record here for noting that Jenna comes from a very messed up family? Wow, parents like hers shouldn't even be allowed to be parents.

After reading these two books, I'm totally invested in these characters and I found myself wrapped up in the drama and danger that they were going through. I couldn't put this page-turner down until I got to the exciting ending, and then I was left wanting more! Luckily the final book in this amazing trilogy will be out in March 2023. I can't wait to hear Lucas' story.

I received a copy of No More Lies from the author and this is my honest opinion.

Release Day! No More Words by Kerry Lonsdale ~ My Thoughts #NoMoreWords #NetGalley

 Happy Release Day!

No More Words

No More Words by Kerry Lonsdale
Series: No More #1
Women's Psychological Fiction, 327 pages
Published July 6th 2021 by Lake Union Publishing

From the Amazon Charts and Wall Street Journal bestselling author comes the first book in a trilogy about love, betrayal, and the secrets families keep.

Forced to choose between abortion or adoption, Olivia Carson’s younger sister, Lily, runs away from home. Sixteen and pregnant, she never returns. But she writes. Once a year, Lily mails a picture of her son, Josh, to Olivia until his thirteenth year. Then it’s Josh himself who arrives at Olivia’s house, alone, terrified, and in possession of a notarized declaration from Lily. It begins, “In the event I go missing…”

Josh has difficulty talking. He can’t read or write, but he’s a prolific artist, exhibiting skill beyond his age. His drawings are as detailed as they are horrific. Olivia soon realizes Josh’s artwork tells a story. There’s more to his arrival and to Lily’s untimely disappearance than it seems. Using the drawings as a road map, Olivia traces Josh’s path back to his mom. Each drawing sheds light on Lily’s past and reveals a darkness that forces Olivia to question everything she thought she knew about her family.

My thoughts about No More Words ~~

(I love to note the first lines of the books I'm reading. First lines can really grab a reader's attention and I love seeing where the author takes the reader after their first line.)

First line—"Summer of '95—Charlotte and Dwight Carson unloaded their three children at the Whitmans' lakeside cabin like a courier with a cardboard package."

I love Kerry's stories and am always excited when she has a new book out. No More Words is the first book in her amazing new trilogy. Her stories are always full of caring, interesting people with just the right amount of unexpected twists. There's never a dull moment in one of Kerry's stories, that's for sure.

No More Words starts out innocently enough, with Oliva and her siblings staying at a friend's cabin for the summer, something they did every year... until they didn't. Years later, when Olivia's nephew shows up on her doorstep all by himself, her life changes as she starts the search for her long lost sister.

I loved everything about this story and found myself racing through the pages, loving the drama and suspense as well as the complicated, satisfying relationships. Kerry's characters are always so likeable and down-to-earth, just like good friends would be.

I'm not sure where the next story, No More Lies, is going to take us but I'm excited to find out. The hard part is that we have to wait until next summer for the next book in the series. But that's okay, I know it'll be worth the wait!

I highly recommend No More Words for an exciting summer read!

I received a copy of No More Words from the author and publisher via NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

Release Day!! Side Trip by Kerry Lonsdale ~ My Thoughts #SideTrip #NetGalley

Congrats Kerry
on the release today of
Side Trip!

Side Trip
by Kerry Lonsdale

Print and e-book, 334 pages
Published July 7th 2020 by Lake Union Publishing

An unforgettable and breathtaking novel of love, loss, and the unexpected routes that life takes from Amazon Charts and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Kerry Lonsdale.

With her deceased sister’s Route 66 bucket list in hand, California girl Joy Evers sets out on a cross-country road trip to meet up with her fiancé, checking off the bullets along the way.

Singer-songwriter Dylan Westfield has a serious case of wanderlust and a broken-down car. Stuck at a diner between LA and Flagstaff, he meets Joy, his complete opposite. She’s energetic. He’s moody. She’s by the book. He’s spontaneous. She believes in love at first sight. He thinks love is a complicated mess. But Joy has a brand-new convertible.

They strike a deal. She’ll drive him to New York. He’ll pay for gas. Only three rules apply: no exchanging of last names; what happens on the road, stays on the road; and if one of them wants to take a side trip, they both must agree.

A heart-stirring love story that spans a decade, Side Trip explores what-if. What if Joy and Dylan had exchanged last names? What if he’d told her she made him believe love was worth the risk? And what if they hadn’t made that second deal when they couldn’t say goodbye?

My thoughts about Side Trip ~~

(I love to note the first lines of the books I'm reading. First lines can really grab a reader's attention and I love seeing where the author takes the reader after their first lines.)

First line—"Joy shouldn't have agreed to Dylan's deal. She should have let him say goodbye, because goodbye would have been much easier than the crushing despair she feels right now."

This book blew me away! What an emotional ride and an ending I totally did not see coming. Wow—mind-blown!

Joy sets out on a trip to honor her sister. Little did she know how much her life would change on this trip. She and Dylan, two strangers, agree to share a ride to New York after his car breaks down. But they lay down some rules before they start their trip.

Side Trip is an emotional, gut-wrenching, beautiful story that will make you feel all the feels and break your heart. It brought me to tears, that's how close I came to the characters and the emotions they were going through. I can't recommend this book enough. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I definitely would.

You really need to get your hands on a copy of Side Trip and take a trip thorough this story this summer. It will be a journey you won't soon forget, I promise!

I received a copy of Side Trip from the author and this is my honest opinion.

My thoughts about Last Summer ~~

This book totally blew me away! I was kept guessing throughout the whole book, wondering which direction the story was going to go next, not knowing what twists and turns were yet to come. I didn't know who or what to believe.

Everything We Left Behind

Everything We Left Behind  by Kerry Lonsdale
Series: Everything We Keep #2
Print and ebook, 348 pages
Published July 4th 2017 by Lake Union Publishing

From the Wall Street Journal bestselling author of Everything We Keep comes the highly anticipated sequel. Told from one man’s two perspectives, Everything We Left Behind effortlessly blends suspense, mystery, and romance in an exploration of loss, resilience, and the compelling need to protect the ones we love at all cost.

Two months before his wedding, financial executive James Donato chased his trade-laundering brother Phil to Mexico, only to be lost at sea and presumed dead. Six and a half years later, he emerges from a dissociative fugue state to find he’s been living in Oaxaca as artist Carlos Dominguez, widower and father of two sons, with his sister-in-law Natalya Hayes, a retired professional surfer, helping to keep his life afloat. But his fiancée, Aimee Tierney, the love of his life, has moved on. She’s married and has a child of her own.

Devastated, James and his sons return to California. But Phil is scheduled for release from prison, and he’s determined to find James, who witnessed something in Mexico that could land Phil back in confinement. Under mounting family pressure, James flees with his sons to Kauai, seeking refuge with Natalya. As James begins to unravel the mystery of his fractured identity, danger is never far behind, and Natalya may be the only person he can trust.

My thoughts about Everything We Left Behind ~~

(I love to note the first lines of the books I'm reading. First lines can really grab a reader's attention and I love seeing where the author takes the reader after their first line.)

First line—"He dreamed about her again. Blue eyes so bright and hot they branded his soul."

I recently read, and loved, Kerry's first book Everything We Keep and immediately jumped into this one. The first book is from the perspective of Aimee, the women who buries her fiancé on their wedding day. She is heartbroken but tries to carry on with her life, never forgetting the love of her life.

Everything We Left Behind is a continuation of this beautiful but heartbreaking love story, this time told from the perspective of James, the man who was buried all those years ago. I read these two books back to back and loved every minute of them. I was totally drawn into the character's lives and love and devoured both books.

Kerry is a new-to-me author but has now been added to my must-read list. I love these stories! And it looks like Everything We Give is coming in July 2018. Yay!! I am so excited to continue this series.

I received an ARC of Everything We Left Behind in exchange for my honest opinion.
