It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? August 24, 2015

Hello! Welcome to It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? This weekly meme, hosted by Book Journey, is where we share what we have read this past week and what our plans are for the upcoming week. It’s a great way to see what others are reading and to discover books to add to your own To Be Read list. You never know where that next great read may come from!

What I'm currently reading/listening to

Previously Loved Treasures (Serendipity #2)
by Bette Lee Crosby
We are reading this one for my book club. I love this author and she wrote me in a character in this book. How awesome is that!

The Loft: Memory House Collection (Memory House Series Book 2)
by Bette Lee Crosby
This is one I am reading for an online book club organized by the author. It's the first time I've done anything like this and it has been fun.

Dead Case in Deadwood (Deadwood #3)
by Ann Charles (audio book)
The continuing saga of Violet Parker. I love this series!

What I recently finished reading

The Duality Bridge (Singularity #2)
by Susan Kaye Quinn
LOVED IT! My thoughts will be posted later today.

A Measure of Happiness

Loved this book! I will be posting my thoughts on Tuesday, it's release day.

What I am going to read next

Laguna Nights (Laguna Beach #1)

  1. Susan!!!! I finished reader Dear Carolina by Kristen Woodsen Harvey. My only regret? That I didn't read it as soon as it was published!! Excellent women's fiction, and I couldn't believe it was Kristy's debut novel.
Next up I'm finishing The Letter by Kathleen Shoop and heading straight into book 2 in the series, The Road Home. They are historical fiction. I seem to be genre hopping!
    Have a great week!

    1. ooooo - I loved Dear Carolina and Kristy is such a fabulous person as well, so supportive of bloggers and her readers. I can't wait to see what she writes next. And I agree, what a great first novel.
I'll have to check out that series, I am not familiar with it. (Whoops, I just checked and Amazon says I already have it.) :)
      Happy reading, Jen!

  2. My comment was supposed to say "Kristy Woodsen Harvey," not Kristen! Oops.
