It's Monday! What Are You Reading? June 13, 2016

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's an opportunity to visit other blogs and to comment on their reads. And ... you can add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

**************************************

Not too much exciting going on this week. Hot temps, softball games, grilling out, gathering with neighbors on the patio, dinner with girlfriends to celebrate birthdays, visiting with some of the kids and grandkids, reading, oh yeah, and then working. Well, I guess my week was filled up and it was a wonderful week. I hope you have a great one!

  1. My book club met last week, we discussed The Nightingale. I hope yours enjoys The Girl on the Train. I can't believe you read and have listened to Peculiar Children, well done. I only read the 1st, wasn't interested in reading on but I will watch the movie. It's more my kind of movie then book really.

    1. Thanks for stopping by, Kathryn. I really liked Wendy's book but I know I would have liked it more if I had read the previous ones before. This was the first one of her's I have read. Took my awhile to bond with the characters since I just jumped into the middle of their lives. But I enjoyed it. Happy reading!

    1. Hi Melinda! I have found that to be the case with people I have talked to about The Girl on the Train. They either love it or just can't get into it. It will be interesting to see how our book club feels about it. Happy reading!
