It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's an opportunity to visit other blogs and to comment on their reads. And ... you can add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Vacation update! We have a time set and a destination! We will take off next week and go to The Black Hills. It's just a jaunt east to west across the state of South Dakota for us. We love the mountains but Colorado is a bit far for us. The Hills are a nice substitute and it's really pretty out there. I am already thinking about the quality reading time I am going to get in. Hubby likes to fish and I don't but I sit and enjoy nature, with a book in my hands of course.

I hope you have a great vacation. I haven't been to the Black Hills for years but vividly remember those road signs for pigtails. Come see my reading week here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy! We love it out there and are so blessed that it is so close. We try to get out that way once a year at least. Have a great week and happy reading!

I always set my expectations too high and take more books than I can ever get thru but that's why I love my Kindle! I have 100's to choose from. Thanks for stopping and happy reading!
DeleteI love the Black Hills! I visited it as a child and then, two years ago, my hubs and I took our kids on a big road trip and stopped there. It was just beautiful!
