I have had a wonderful reading week! I ended up finishing 4 books this week, all of them fabulous reads. I will be posting my thoughts about each of them soon.

This week is spring break at the college where I work. I still have to work my normal hours but it'll be really quiet in the library without the students. It's a great time to get things caught up.

We'll also be having our campus-wide meeting for support staff this week and I'm going to be recognized for my 20 years at the university. How can that be? Seems like we just moved here a few years ago!! It's a little surreal when I think that I started working there before most of our current students were even born. Yikes! Sorry, I'm feeling old right now. 😯

Whew! What a week and weekend. Weather-wise, we got about 6 inches of snow on Thursday and then another 3 or so on Saturday. Times like this, I am so grateful that we live in a townhouse and that the shoveling is done by someone else. 

Then the weekend—we went from having no plans (other than reading by the fireplace) to having pretty much back to back company starting Saturday morning. Our daughter stopped over in the morning and ended up staying most of the day. She did bring me my favorite beverage from Starbucks so that was a wonderful treat. Yay! And then we were asked to have a last minute sleepover with our 3 yo grandson. How can we say no to that? I didn't get the reading done like I'd planned but hey, that's okay when family's involved.

It was kind of a slow reading week for me. A lot going on and I'm trying to get caught up on my reviews. The weather continues to be up and down. Cold then warm, with snow every once in awhile. We had a weekend full of family which I just love but now I have today and tomorrow off from work and I'm hoping to get some great books read.

I found myself in a bit of a reading and blogging slump around the holiday time. (I hate when that happens.) I did get back into the reading groove and have read some amazing books. And I have some review books coming up that I am super excited about. So my reading mojo is back! And now I need to start writing up reviews. I feel I'm in a better place now so letting the reading and reviewing commence!

Last night was the Super Bowl. Did you watch it? I like watching the commercials. Did your team win? I like football and can usually get into any game that's on. Hubby is a Patriots fan but I didn't really care either way. Commercials and the food are what it's about for me. 😁

Well, I seem to be over my post holiday reading slump and am forging ahead. I have some great books coming up on my TBR list and I can't wait to get to them. 

Temp-wise (because that's what we do here in the Midwest, we talk about the weather) we are experiencing ups and downs. It'll be in the mid thirties for a few days and then drop into the minus degrees. Ugh! I am so ready for spring—I'm ready to do my reading out on the patio. What's the weather like where you are?
