What are you currently reading?

The Goddaughter by Melodie Campbell

I am reading this one for TLC Book Tours. My thoughts will be posted January 7th. The first week of the new year and I am ahead of schedule! Whoo hoo! (It won't last) 

Where We Belong by Emily Giffin

I haven't spent much time in my car lately, which is where I have been listening to this book. So I am still plugging away at it. It is a good book, it's just going to take me awhile.

Know Thy Neighbor by Shawn Kirsten Maravel 

I loved this book ~ I will try to post my thoughts later this week.

The Green Ticket by Samantha March

Room by Emma Donoghue

A very different book, told entirely in the voice of a 5 year old boy. Very interesting and I'm glad I finally got around to reading it. Have you read it? What did you think?

Sara's Promise by Deanna Lynn Sletten

I will be reading either The Darlings Girls or Sara's Promise. T

The Darling Girls is for CLP Blog Tours and my stop will be January 14th. Deanna contacted me over the weekend and asked me to read Sara's Promise. If I receive it soon, it will be bumped to the top of my reading list ~ it sounds so wonderful! I read Memories by Deanna in October and loved it.

I am currently listening to this one in the car. I don't spend a lot of time driving so this one could take me awhile. I think this is the first Giffin book I have 'read'. Are you a fan of her books?

 Loved this one! I didn't want to put it down. Catherine is my newest 'must-read' author! My thoughts will be posted tomorrow.

I am not really sure what I am going to read next. The holidays are right around the corner and I do not have any books with a deadline for a while. I think I will just stand by my bookshelf and see what book appeals to me ~ something that I have been dying to read, but just haven't gotten around to yet.

Cover Reveal: Know Thy Neighbor by Shawn Kirsten Maravel

I can't wait to read Shawn Kirsten Maravel's newest book. Today is the cover release day! Isn't it beautiful? And intriguing? I wonder what is going through this young woman's mind. 

Evangeline has already lost everything once. She’s no stranger to reassembling the shambles of her life and trying to make peace with the outcome of the greatest tragedy that she’s ever had to face. But when a life of selling antiques in the Lower East Side proves to be less than enough to maintain her meager lifestyle, she turns to the pages of her thriller novels for distraction.
