It's Monday! What Are You Reading? January 28, 2019

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's an opportunity to visit other blogs and to comment on their reads. And ... you can add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Brrrrr! Baby, It's Cold Outside! Our temps have taken a polar plunge with the low predicted to be -33 on Tuesday night. I hope my poor car will start. Oh, wait! If it doesn't, maybe I'll have to stay home all day..... and read. Yes! What's the weather like where you're at?

I was supposed to travel to southern Nebraska for my brother's retirement party but after looking at the forecast for the weekend we decided not to go. I was sorry to miss it but was so glad we stayed home. It snowed all day Sunday with heavy winds. It would have been tough to get back. I told him we could celebrate his retirement this summer instead. 😉

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you all have a good week. Happy reading!

  1. We're north of most of the snow but also have the bone-chilling cold in our forecast. Staying in and reading is high on my to-do list too. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  5. Your books all look very enticing. Sorry you missed your brother's retirement party - big event, but weather sounds like it was a definite unsafe kind of travel. Summer is good!
