How can it be only a week before Christmas? It snuck up so fast and the weather has been so nice, it just doesn't feel like Christmas yet. Don't get me wrong, I don't really want snow right now. We will be traveling over the weekend so the snow can stay away for awhile.

Well, we got back last night from spending the weekend visiting my 86 year old mother-in-law. So yep, that means I had very little reading time over the weekend. It was good to see her though and to get her out of her apartment for a little bit each day. And then.... we go back in 2 weeks for the big family Christmas. Where, oh where has this year gone?

This past weekend, the weather was so nice but now they are predicting cold and snow. It was great while it lasted though. We had a couple of the grandkiddos over throughout the weekend so I feel like I didn't get much reading done. Here's to a better reading week! Fingers crosses.

What a wonderful week and weekend. We celebrated Thanksgiving on Thursday with part of the family, watched the 3yo grandson on Friday, and then I just relaxed and read the rest of the weekend. It was great to have that down time now because the weekends for the whole month of December are already booked. Yikes!
