It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's an opportunity to visit other blogs and to comment on their reads. And ... you can add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

Busy, busy week for me so I feel like I haven't gotten in much reading time. We took care of two of our darling grandkiddos for 3 days last week. That's hard work! Here they are, sitting in our closet while we were under a tornado warning. Always an exciting time at Nama's house! We ended up not actually having a tornado, so all is good.
We are expecting company this upcoming weekend so another busy week, getting ready for that. My 86 year old mother-in-law and my sister-in-law are planning to come up for a long weekend. Cleaning, grocery shopping, and cooking are on my agenda for this week. Hopefully I can snag some reading time too.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you all have a good week. Happy reading!
Aren't tornado warnings fun! Not! Now that I've moved North, they are much fewer than in my old home. All of your books are new to me and look good. Come see my week here. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteOoh, what an adventure for the grandkids! Hiding in the closet. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy Anita Hughes' books, so Emerald Coast is on my list. I'm curious about The Quiet Child.
Enjoy! Here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
Lovely to have the grandchildren but I bet you enjoyed the quiet after too. Yuck to the tornado and can only imagine what it would be like to have to contain a small one in a closet. Glad it didn't come your way.
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm hopping between books because moody and stressed out. Nyxia is really good so far, I just am not ready for the cut-throat competition. First Grave on the Left was okay, but the audiobook messed up and was TOO nonchalant for me.
