It's Monday! What Are You Reading? September 30, 2024 #IMWAYR

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week. It's an opportunity to visit other blogs and to comment on their reads. And ... you can add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome everyone. This meme started with J Kaye's Blog and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

I hope everyone who's reading this and was affected by Hurricane Helene is safe. My son and his family live in eastern Tennessee where all the flooding happened. They personally are safe and at this point only have an issue with getting safe drinking water. I'm supposed to be going down to visit them in about two weeks, flying into Asheville, NC. Don't think that is going to happen now. I'll have to check to see what my options are. Stay safe everyone.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you all have a good week.
Happy reading!

  1. Seems Ashville, NC got hit hard with floods. Too bad you have to postpone your trip. Hope your son and his family are doing alright.

    1. Looks like I should be okay to fly out there now, it just may take longer to get to their house. They are fine but were without water for almost a week.

  2. Ashville is where Emilie Richards (author) lives so hoping she escaped all the flooding. Only just moved there too. Hope you get your trip in some way.

    1. Oh, I hope she is okay as well. The stories are just horrible.

  3. I am so glad to hear your son and his family are okay. We live just outside of Asheville. We were very lucky. The only thing we lack is the Internet (using cell tower data to read posts).
